BRANDON CRAWFORD, OD
Determined, easy going, with a light sense of humor, Brandon Crawford, pays attention to detail as he cares for his patients. Dr Crawford grew up in rural eastern Idaho and attended Idaho State University in Pocatello where he played football and rugby. Upon finishing his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University in Forest Grove Oregon, he returned to eastern Idaho for a few years. Warmer weather and a better opportunity had the Crawford family settling in the Treasure Valley. He and Jenalee have 5 children. They enjoy floating the Boise river, camping, hunting, sports and traveling to attend concerts. His most recent endeavors are coaching the Eagle High School Rugby Club and TOA Rugby Academy of Idaho.
His externships included co-managing surgical patients with on-site ophthalmologists, treating glaucoma, evaluating in-office fluorescein angiography, assisting intraocular surgery, training new interns, and regular neuro-imaging and literature reviews. To finish his externships he spent time at the Portland VA Hospital in Portland Oregon. He focused on the management and treatment of diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts. The first ten years of his career was with various private practices with an emphasis in contact lens fitting, ocular diseases and primary eye care. He founded Crawford Eye Care in 2014 and has greatly enjoyed this endeavor.
